I began working with Jillian about a year after having my first child and enduring a subsequent back surgery. My physical therapist had given me a list of exercises to do, but I needed someone to make sure I was staying on track. In the three years I worked with Jillian, she did that and so much more. She encouraged me to always listen to my body, and while she pushed me to do my best, she never pushed me to a place where I felt uncomfortable. Her gradual approach to strength training meant that sometimes I didn’t even notice that I was lifting more or completing more reps. She knew what I could accomplish, and I always felt confident with her cheering me on. She trained me through my second pregnancy, helping me modify all the while, and as soon as I was ready to exercise again, she helped me regain my strength both mentally and physically. She told me that I deserved all the credit for my progress, but I sincerely could not have done it without Jillian’s dedication and positive attitude. Thank you, Jillian!
